German Shepard Rescues Injured Humming Bird

28th December 2016 UNDER Blog

https://youtu.be/wwcR2Qe9B3g

Ed Gernon was taking his German Shepard mix out for a walk. As they were strolling along they found a featherless humming bird lying on the ground completely covered in any. Initially Mr Gernon thought the bird was dead, however his dog Rex refused to leave the spot. That was enough to pique the curiosity of Mr Gernon who realised that whilst the humming bird was in poor condition it was still actually alive. Rex’s concern for the humming bird convinced Mr Gernon to try and save the poor bird. So the man to the sick bird back home and nursed it back to health. Since the rescue Mr. Gernon says the humming bird has developed a friendship with his rescue dog and doesn’t want to leave his side. We couldn’t think of anything sweeter.
