Christmas comes but once a year and when it comes… it starts earlier every year! After a warm Halloween the weather is taking a more frosty turn which means our thoughts can start to turn towards Christmas. As if to confirm this, John Lewis have released their Christmas advert starring Monty the Penguin – and yes it’s a tear jerker!

Last year we had the bear in the woods with a lovely Lily Allen song, this time we have a penguin (#MontyThePenguin) in search of true love. Those guys at John Lewis certainly know how to tug at the old heart strings.

We don’t want to spoil the ad for you too much but, suffice to say, if you want to adopt a penguin with a cuddly toy then WWF are a great option. Not only do you get a lovely cuddly toy – but you are also helping to protect this wonderful species.
