Shocking Video Of Child Riding 20 Foot Python

21st January 2018 UNDER Blog

Shocking footage has emerged showing a child taking a ride on the back of a python measuring 20 feet long in the streets of a town in Northern Vietnam. The video shows a little boy named Truong aged three happily sitting on the reptile as if it were a horse whilst the snake was navigating the devastating flood waters that had ravaged the region.

Snake is a pet

According to several reports the huge snake is actually the family pet in a house located in the Vietnamese province of Thanh Hoa. The boy’s aunt claims the footage is real and the child really has a good time playing with the snake which weighs almost 180-pounds. She adds that the boy is three and the python weighs 80 kilos. The family has had the snake as a pet for more than four years and it is very docile. The day the footage was shot was extremely rainy with water extending all the way up to the edge of the yard. As a result, the family put the python in the water to play and relax.

Viewers astonished

The video has gone viral and rather unsurprisingly viewers who have seen it were astonished and some expressed concern for the well-being of the child. One viewer commented that it would take less than 2 seconds and not even six men would be able to pry the child from the clutches of the snake. Whilst another added that whilst the snake did seem peaceful it was only a matter of time before it would need to feed again.
