Wild Siberian Tiger Chases Car

28th February 2016 UNDER Blog

It is estimated that there a less than 600 wild Siberian tigers left globally. With that said, one would hardly expect casually encounter this endangered species even if you were wandering around the forests of South-East Russia where they live. A Russian motorist who was driving along a road in a forested area did just that and came across the big cat. What the tiger did next both surprised and thrilled.

Amazing Video

The video was shot by Sergey Popov and shows the Siberian tiger first standing in the middle of the road before lying down. As the vehicle approached the tiger stood up and entered into a staring contest with the car before beginning to run alongside it, much to the delight of the car’s occupants. Eventually after starting to become afraid of when the tiger would do next, the driver of the car sped up and left the big cat behind. Check out the video, it’s amazing.
