Celebrate Halloween at Aspinall Foundation Animal Parks

20th October 2011 UNDER Blog

Why not do something different this Halloween and visit one of the Aspinall Foundation wildlife parks for some fiendish fun during the October half term. Both parks, the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park near Ashford and the Howletts Wild Animal Park near Canterbury, will have a great selection of Halloween based activities to take part in.

There will be fantastic pumpkin trail around the walks of both parks where you can search for clues along the way. Whilst on the trail, both adults and children can learn some scary facts about the animals on the park, so not only will it be a lot of fun, but also factual.

Head of Communications, Eddie Kemsley, said –

October half term is shaping up to be great fun at both parks and the special enrichments offer visitors the opportunity to become more involved – the kids will love it.

They’ll even be a creepy crawley session at both parks, allowing visitors can come face to face with millipedes and other bugs. Keep these away from me though, as I jump at the sight of a slug or snail, yet strangely, I’m not scared of spiders. Bit weird!

So why not have a ghoulish day out this Halloween and visit one of the Aspinall Foundations amazing parks, it looks like a lot of fun for the whole family!
