Splish splash he was taking a bath! Check out this incredibly cute 2 month old baby elephant enjoying himself at the Dallas Zoo as he messed around for the first time ever in his kiddie pool. A zoo spokesperson said the kiddie pool was brought out when the little fella’s handlers felt he was big enough to step into it. This being summer and all, pool time is a requirement.

Best way to stay cool

The baby African elephant calf simply loved rolling around and splashing in his multi-coloured inflatable pool which is the ideal way to remain cool in the searing Texas heat. So far the baby elephant hasn’t been named but he already weighs over 200 pounds following his birth to mother Milo in May. His mother was one five elephants that were rescued from Africa back in March.
