Check Out This Smart Cat Crossing The Road

If you want to make your day seem a little bit brighter then there is nothing like watching a cat video. One curious cat in Dartford England has been making headlines for using a pedestrian crossing on a busy street. A driver named Jason Scrutton was able to capture the clever crossing by the cat on video courtesy of a dash cam. The short clip was inevitably uploaded and has become a fan favourite.

Mr Scruton was on his way to take his vehicle to the valet when he saw the clever cat. In the video you can hear the 44-year-old driver chuckling and clapping because the feline was using the pedestrian crossing. Mr Scrutton can be heard saying “spot on” as the cat moved from one end of the street to the other.

 “I just approached the zebra crossing and looked both sides as you do, in case there was a child,” he said. “Both cars stopped and the cat looks both ways, he thought, ‘it’s my turn’ and crossed. He has obviously done that before, it was very sweet,” he added.
