Watch This Elephant Crash A Dinner Party

Most people try and avoid the elephant in the room, however when said elephant charges your dinner table you are left with no option but to address it. Recently Stephen Montague was in the African bush out on safari when a young bull elephant walked towards his campsite. Mr. Montague and his other guests were advised to remain still and just ignore the elephant who was casually roaming in the background.

Things get crazy

This video shows a visibly anxious tourist as he taps his finger on the table. Eventually he is unable to resist and he looks over straight into the eyes of the wild animal which is when things start to go crazy. The elephant begins to flap his ears and then takes a few steps forward whilst cocking his head into the side and then slams into Mr. Montague with his trunk. Luckily Montague was able to avoid the tusks of the animal but he does end up flying outside of the frame.

No one injured

The elephant then sets his sights on Montague’s companion, Shane Wolf who is struck by the elephant’s trunk and then thrown into the dinner table. Dishes are slammed to the ground and the guests head for the hills, at which point the elephant loses interest and strolls off into the sunset. We guess he didn’t like the menu.
